BA (Hons) Counselling & Psychotherapy | MSc Psychology (BPS Accredited)
Alex is a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist working with adults experiencing a range of emotional and psychological difficulties, including anxiety, anger, addiction, and low self-esteem.
Alongside private practice, Alex works within the NHS as well as previous experience in an addiction rehabilitation setting, supporting individuals who are navigating complex emotional challenges and recovery. This experience informs his understanding of the emotional patterns, coping behaviours, and underlying issues that can contribute to difficulties such as substance misuse, anger, or feeling stuck in unhelpful cycles.
Alex’s approach is primarily person-centred, providing a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space where clients can explore their experiences openly. His work also integrates elements of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and practical coping strategies to help clients better understand and regulate difficult emotions.
